Crap piece of parking compounded by a dickhead number plate.

The Highway Code rules for waiting and parking.

Rule 238.

You MUST NOT wait or park on yellow lines during the times of operation shown on nearby time plates (or zone entry signs if in a Controlled Parking Zone) – see ‘Traffic signs’ and ‘Road markings’. Double yellow lines indicate a prohibition of waiting at any time even if there are no upright signs. You MUST NOT wait or park, or stop to set down and pick up passengers, on school entrance markings (see ‘Road markings’) when upright signs indicate a prohibition of stopping.

The Highway Code rules for waiting and parking.

Rule 244. You MUST NOT park partially or wholly on the pavement in London, and should not do so elsewhere unless signs permit it. Parking on the pavement can obstruct and seriously inconvenience pedestrians, people in wheelchairs or with visual impairments and people with prams or pushchairs.

Once again the local park is in chaos.

Parking in #lymevalley as bad as ever, would love to see #newcastlebc or #Staffscountycouncil or #Stoke-on-trentcouncil step up and do something about this but I doubt very much they will.

#UHNM #Royal-Stoke staff abandoning cars wherever.
Making the park unusable for people who want to park and bring their kids to enjoy the facilities of the parks.

Here’s an example of how not to park.

As you can plainly see, this spot of madness has won the idiot of the day award.

Not only was the Post office van parked close to the car in front it was also parked so that anyone trying to use the traffic island to cross Buckmaster Avenue, was at a major disadvantage as you could not see around the van to check for vehicles coming up Clayton Bank.

The Gap left between the two vehicles also made it difficult for anyone with a pushchair or Wheelchair to get around and in between the two vehicles.

This is Just not Good Enough from the Post office Driver, to be park this close to an already difficult junction is just irresponsible.

Thank you for reading.

It`s Not always the parking.

Sometimes the parking on our pavements is not the issue, there are a multitude of reasons that Can make the pavements impassable for the pedestrian.

Here is just one example of overgrown trees blocking the pavement.IMG_20170605_091810241_HDR

This particular example shows the problem the visually impaired people among us could face in the fact that the path itself is clear however the obstruction is at head height, the other problem is that it creates an issue for drivers emerging from the side street as the view up the bank is restricted.

So come on @NewcastleBC lets get these trees sorted before someone gets hurt.

Hello and welcome

This is a new site that is dedicated to all the inconsiderate drivers out the there who feel it’s okay to park their vehicles without giving a single thought to anyone else.

The levels of careless and inconsiderate parking in my local area of Newcastle under Lyme have become such a common occurrence that I feel it is time these drivers are shown and hopefully shamed.

Do people not realise that by their actions they are possibly putting the lives of others in danger.

The parent with a pushchair, the parent with toddlers, the disabled, the blind, the elderly all are put in awkward and difficult situations by pavement parking.

Anyway, hopefully this site may challenge and change the habits of someone.

If you see any ridiculous or inconsiderate parking please do not hesitate to send photographs and description of where to the email address above and we will try and publish as many as possible.

Thanks for reading.
